Fashion Dump

Just wanted to uploaded my work from Fashion Design here and possibly get some feedback about it. I'm no fashion Major that's not in question-but I do love the simplicity of the fashion figure and how it can so easily convey the product and get the desired result. I played with pencil, watercolor,Photoshop, and Illustrator through the weeks. Just a bunch of exercises though.

Semi Final Story Logo

Yeeeeaaaaahhh...So I decided to work on this instead of doing other homework I need to finish...but I needed to do this too I guess. Just wanted to pick colors for my boards and get everything ready for my Illustrative Drawing class. I like the colors, but there are a few shapes I need to fix and I don't know how I feel abotu the smoke yet...We shall see...

Is That What You'd Call a Smile?

Yeah, so I decided I was going to give myself a 1 hour challenge in sculpting a small bust in W.E.D. clay...and like 9 hours after that I finish this maquette of the main character of the unnamed fantasy story I'm working on.Well, like I've said before and I'll say again- I'm the slowest artist I know in EVERYTHING I do.I've been drawing all my life and I've learned that I take a lot of time. And that's why animation isn't for me ah-ha! I rest my case. ;)
I used to have daymares (nope not nightmares)about this guy 2 years ago and now I'm finally using him! And yes,I'd say he's smiling!

Children's Book Page One

Working on too many things at once! But I finally have this first page for my Children's book! Inspired by Craig McCracken's art in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I got a long way to go!

Asher Bust Progress

The bust I start a few weeks back- I posted the orginal colored piece on here a few months ago and I've finally got to sculpting him! This is after about 9-10 hours of work I'm thinking...mostly me building up the clay and tearing it off again. I probably have a lot more to go, but then the mold will get made and I'll paint and fur him! I'm really excited, but you can't tell because it's 2 am...

Drum Major W.I.P.

Not quite done with him...but for now he's good enough! Hours spent on him from start to finish was 30-35 hours easily over a 4 day span...It hurt.ALOT. Haha but I had fun! He was sculpted out of Super Sculpey and painted with acrylics/spray paint.

Branding Me

So I'm getting my branding together for my website and I'm really starting to enjoy what it's developing into. What I'm NO enjoying is the constriction of colors...I keep adding more and more variation on my red and turquoise...Oops!

Sketches फॉर नेक्स्ट पोस्सिब्ले Sculptures

Why is blogspot being so jank? I'm having such a hard time posting on here. Oh well, just posting some sketches I did today for the next possible sculptures I want to do for Tardino's and Mahan's classes. This story is getting bigger then I imagined.

Cholla Station Progress

I got the pencil sketch done (not shown because it was tiny, the digital sketch done with changes, and the color study first round. I still have a bunch to do to make this atmosphere more inviting and believeable. Cholla Station is located about a 2 hours walk from the Dredge District final security checkpoint. Prisoners that are lucky enough to escape the Dredge Distict usually go to the Cholla Station first-if they make it,they are usually home free.
Cholla Station is located inside of a large, hollowed out barrel cactus in the Adola Desert. Anyone located in the Adola Desert is usually of poor background and are scavengers (Rutilla Crux are from this area)therefore explaining there poor wooden architecture, jagged metal accents, and dirt floors.
